She listed her birthplace as being in New York, NY, but her son's birth certificate gives her birthplace as Italy and the Mollica family's oral history from John Mollica indicates somewhere near Naples Italy. Interestingly, Jane checked the 'widower' category instead of 'divorced' - her husband Zachary died in 1938, three years before this application, but he was married to Esme Lucas at the time.
