Hi Y'all,

A major event took place in the life of the Milton Mollica's. Phil came home from school and announced that he had a girlfriend! At first I thought he was joking. I waited a few minutes and there was no punch line. So I asked Phil, "When did this happen?" He replied, "Sixth period." "How did this happen, I inquired. "She asked me out", said Phil.

Well this changes everything. Life as I know it is over. This begins a new era. So.. why am I nervous. He's in seventh grade. Do I really have to give the big talk now??? It seemed like just yesterday that girls had cooties. It was just yesterday!!! No need to panic. That's my boy. So ...why am I nervous? This is great... right. Of course it is.

By the way what does he mean by she asked him out? Does this mean they will sit together at lunch? I'm starting to panic. It was the trip to the Dominican Republic with those topless women!! That's what did this. No more trips with topless women. Okay, I'm fine! Please don't tell Mark and Kim. It seems like only yesterday that my kids were at the perfect age. Got to go, this is a good thing right!!
