The Civil War was not fun,
It was the bloodiest battle ever won.
And if you should not agree with me,
Come on, let's go, and you will see.

Back at the Battle of Bull Run,
Let me tell you, that wasn't fun.
For it was a battle both said that they won,
The South claimed victory on Bull Run.

And then there were the tragic deaths,
The bodies lying in a mess.
All of the soldiers cried and cried,
For their comrades had just died.

Now, oh friend of mine,
Was that war so divine?
Let's go back now to modern times.
