Breakfast at the Maple Tree Inn

Breakfast is the last part of “Bed and Breakfast,” and it is our goal to make that part of your stay a unique and memorable one.  You will learn that your hostess is not just a pretty face, but also a world class culinary artist, who specializes in Belgian pastries.

The house specialty is frittatas, a delightful combination of eggs whisked with filling ingredients, cooked, topped with fresh cheese, and popped under the broiler until fluffy.  The combinations are as limitless as your imagination, but some of the favorites include:  Garden Frittata with sweet peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, green onions and Wisconsin cheddar cheese.  The Works, with all the veggies and cheese of the garden frittata, plus bacon and ham.  Bacon and Swiss Frittata with bacon, mushrooms and baby Swiss cheese.  Smoked Salmon and Fontina Frittata with tomatoes, green onions, professionally smoked salmon and fontina cheese.

Depending on the season, you will find anything from muffins and scones to filled croissants, turnovers and coffee cakes.  Our grilled  hazelnut French toast has sent many a traveler on their way with a smile on their face.  This favorite is made with homemade thick sliced brioche bread, batter dipped with hazelnut liqueur and topped with toasted hazelnuts. Served with pure Maple Tree Inn maple syrup.

The house crepes deserve a special recognition of their own.  These award winning crepes are served year-round, with a variety of seasonal toppings, from garden fresh strawberries pureed with lemon, to roasted walnuts in liqueur.

Accompany this fine eating with a cup of one of our world class coffees, and you will have the breakfast experience of a lifetime.  It doesn't get any better than this – breakfast at the Maple Tree Inn.
