WELCOME TO PAM'S WAY

Pamela Pauley-Perreault
EQUALITY
The mother watched her daughter leave,
So proud, so tall, so sure.
Was not so long ago she feared,
She'd never reach the age.
Where daughters turn and face their mother
Telling them they're equals.
Then hug them close, say " thank you mom,
You always knew what's right."
As teens they struggle just to win
Approval of their friends.
A mother's vote it seldom counts,
You rarely know what's right.
But now we're standing face to face,
I'm proud to be her mother.
The respect I taught her long ago
She's teaching to her daughter.
