My Mom does all the laundry for us and cooks for us. She comes in my room in the middle of the night if I have a nightmare. She does all the dishes. She's the best!!

Nominated: Terri Berge By: Janna Berge(daughter)
My mom deserves to be mom of the year because she takes real good care of me and my 5 sisters. She cooks us breakfast, lunch, and supper every day, and does our laundry, and helps us with our school-work (we homeschool). And so much more! She deserves to be awarded with something special!

Nominated: Marcia Queen By: Nick Queen(son)
Hello! My name is Nicolas, but I prefer to be called Nick, I think Mom deserves to be "Mom of the year" because she helps me when I have a problem, she takes care of poor kids, gives them food, clothes, and someone to play with (which is me!). My mom is also funny, a good teacher, and a grrrrrrreat beliver in the Lord. She helps me answer a lot of questions about God and Jesus, plays games with me, allows Cliff (my best friend) over. Mom also lets me go online with her to see really cool "kid" sites, and somtimes adds them onto kiddonet, which is a really cool place.    Thank you for listening,           Nick Queen

Nominated: Gidget Fisher By: Amber, Aaron, Krysten, Derek and the unborn Baby in her belly.. .(children)
Our Mom works very hard. She is a teacher in the public school system.(please don't hold this against her. She works with God's special children). We are all homeschooled(except for Aaron, he has Down Syndrome). She is planning to teach Aaron at home very soon. Besides teaching for twelve hours a day she does most of the housework. We try to help her, but she still does the most part of it. We hope Our Mom wins, but if our Mom does not win, that's OK. She will be our Mother of the Year every year.

Nominated: Laura Porter By: Jacob Porter(son)
My Mom is the best Mom a kid could ever have!  She works very hard, but always makes time for me and my 4 year old sister.  She has been through alot in her life.  She went back to college and got her degree while she was working and taking care of us.  I don't know how she does it all!  She always has a bright outlook on things, even when they seem really bad.  She has had alot of people die in her life.  My little brother died a few years ago, three of my grandparents died within a year and recently a very close friend of my Mom's died.  She always stays strong for us.  My Mom says that we are the most important people in her life.  She proves that to us everyday.  She is always there for us.  She gets involved in our school stuff and makes sure that we get to do the things that we love to do.  We have alot of fun together.  She is not only our Mom, she's our best friend!

Nominated: Joan Stucky By: Marni Dick(daughter
My mother is the greatest ever, which I'm sure that others think their mom is as well, well all moms are the best thing the good Lord has created.  My mom stands out from the rest because of the great work she is doing with a simple communication device we call a computer. She joined a find Me adoption registry to help adoptees and birth mom/dad join once again. She has done this because I think in her process of helping me find my birth family and helping me deal with all the emotions of finding them it has directed her to help others in this process.  It is a very emotional time to find birth families after years of not knowing who you are or where you come from, to one day have all the puzzle pieces come together is the best feeling in the world, besides knowing Jesus. Well my mother volunteers to do this everyday of her life she tries to help match people, with getting nothing in return but a great big thank you, or listens to people say they never wanted to be found, whic! h is not always the case.  Well since me and my mother have been through A LOT of emotions together and she has been my shoulder to cry on in dealing with rejection, we help others who are going through the samethings and need someone to listen too.  She gives adoptees my e-mail address and lets them know what I've been through and lets them know they have someone to talk to.  Then she can help people with what a adoptive mother feels when their son/daughter searches for their biological family.  My mother is the best that any child could possibly have.  She is my mother and my best friend I can tell her anything, and she will always help me out.  She also does this for other people as well regardless if they are family or not if you need help she will try her best to help ya in any way, shape, or form.  Even though I have found my biological family, God sent me one mother and that is my Mother Joan Stucky.  She always told me and my brother while growing up we were God sent a! nd I believe her with all my heart this was Gods plan for me and my brother.  If you have never met my mother well one day I hope you do because she will bless you as much as she has blessed me with love, kindness, and joy.  I hope you can experience this from her.  I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!
