Welcome to Priesty´s Chelsea FC Refuge - In memory of Matthew Harding

Surgery Notes - 18th April 2008
Sir,

Apologies for my lack of communication in the last few weeks but I have been channelling my energies into baiting the Man Utd cunts reading The Daily Telegraph. The Telegraph, besides having a good footy section, allows idiots (like me) and wind-up merchants (like Priesty) to post reaction to their reports.

Given the time difference between London and the far east it means that mine is usually the first comment to be posted and I use this opportunity to write a thought provoking, insightful piece which acts as a catalyst for those other cunts out there. Following is a selection of my posts and the furious reactions they have received.

After Man Utd’s 2-2 draw at Boro
Les' initial post:

"I can only see Chelsea winning it now but it all depends on whether Arsene can get his tactics right on the 13th. We know that Fergie will be on the defensive at the Bridge but Chelsea have enough to unlock a pedestrian back 4 that has already lost 3 on the road."

The Backlash

Myopic is an understatement in your case is it not ? This 'pedestrian back 4" has conceded 15 goals and whatever imperfections they may have (and even Baresi, Moore, Beckenbauer had imperfections - I am not comparing this United defence with these 'icons' by the way, merely making a point) they cannot be described as 'pedestrian' - or weren't you watching yesterday as the quickest forward in the league, Torres, was nullified by a very mobile Ferdindand. I note you rely on another side to fulfill your partisan prediction. My advice would be to consider that all 3 teams can still win at this stage, more than possibly - as in fact alluded to ("it all depends......") by your contradictory but blindly arrogant comments.

might be pedestrian, only conceded 15 goals so far though, give me that every season, cant see united on the defensive either, top scorers as well as having the top scorer, does dr les watch a different league to everyone else

Posted by tommo.

Er...what football have you been watching in the last 4 years? United have had the best defence in the league for the past 2 years, and the best ATTACK also. United always play the same way - FORWARD which is in complete contrast to Chelsea. And talk of unlocking us? If hoofing it up to Drogba is 'unlocking' us, then yeah, that may be a method but thats Chelsea's ONLY way of beating United. But to suggest United will be defensive is ludicrous. Ferguson will be looking to winning the title as soon as possible (esp if United are still in the Champions League) even if that means going all out to win at Chelsea. Put it one way - if United go a goal up at Chelsea, they won't capitulate like Arsenal.

'a pedestrian back 4' that is the best defence in the Premier League ? and Utd's attack, oh yes best in the League. Utd will do what Arsenal failed to do, get goals, end the home run record and expose Grant's lucky substitutions yesterday as just that, LUCK !

Pedestrian back 4? Oh, you mean the one that concedes less than 0.5 goals a game? Name a better partnership than Rio and Vidic? Its not in Uniteds nature to be defensive at the Bridge, our tradition is attacking football, Chelsea do not have any tradition or history. Number 17 is ours in weeks.

After Ferdinand was named Captain of England

Les initial post:

"I think I missed 6 days in the whole time I was banned" Rio Ferdinand. 6 days in 8 months, that means every 3 weeks he threw a sicky! and he wasn't involved in any competition? He's having a laugh isn't he? Not for being such a malingerer but so holding this up as an example of his dedication. Lets hope Capello is only doing this to keep John Terry on his toes. What next? Dwayne Chambers heading the 2012 committee?"

Note 1: I arrived at 1 day in every 3 weeks by multiplying the number of working days in a week (ie 5) by the 32 weeks = 160 working days. Therefore he missed 4% of working days round this up to 1 in every 20 days etc etc.>/P>

Note 2: Dwayne Chambers has just completed a ban for drug offences and perhaps the last person you’d want leading an Olympic committee. Parallels can be drawn with Rio, who also served a drug test related ban.

The Backlash:

Dr Les - your doctorate, is surely not in mathematics, as I cannot make your "every 3 weeks he threw a sicky" work!! I make it, more like every 5 weeks approx. Still, that's unimportant. I feel that you are just anti Ferdinand, or, is it United, his home team that you really dislike? He's paid the price, now let him go forward and judge him on his future actions. What committee are you suggesting Dwanyne Chambers heads ?

Powerful Piere

Dr Les, take some of your own medicine pal because the bile is entering the back of your throat. JT is an excellent player yes, but he has a lot of growing up to do. Ferdinand has had a go, learned how to express himself and is attempting to embrace some of the issues surrounding the youth culture here in the north west. Good on him, his toys never left the pram and he realised he has an aptitude to pass on some of his gifts. I wasn't a fan when United signed him, but as he stated, maturity changed his outlook, and may I add, his ability.

A few days after the Boro vs Utd draw

Les' initial comment:

With Arsenal drawing on Saturday its a face-off between Chelsea & Man Utd. On Sunday Man Utd blinked. Game over. 3rd Championship in 4 years to Chelsea. Well done plucky Utd for giving us such a spirited challenge but I am sure you will all agree that its over for another year. Goodnight."

The Backlash:

Does this Les character live in the real world? Man U can afford to lose to Arsenal, draw at Chelsea and still win on goal difference; whereas Chelsea have to win eveything (2 games in 1 week seemed to be an issue for Grant but not for Dr Les!) and Man U to lose 2 games. Everton are challenging for CPL and Wigan don't want to relegated whereas Blackburn don't really have anything to play for.

Sounds like Dr Les is indulging in some wishful thinking. Can I assume that he is not a United fan?

A few days later

Les' initial comment:

"Sounds like Utd are putting on a brave face on a situation that is rapidly spiralling out of control. You only had to look at Fergie's touchline rage to realise that all is not well with the Utd franchise."

Note: calling Utd a franchise was my way of getting back at all those racist twats who refer to us as "Chelski"

The Backlash:

Who is this Dr Les??? Utd franchise? its a football club not a fast food chain. Spiralling out of control? they are 3 points clear at the top of English football or would Dr Les prefer soccer? Jeez!

Posted by Vic.

If 16 points out of 18 available in the League is 'spiralling out of control', I guess Arsenal would love to be spiralling like that, eh?

Posted by Stephen Walshe.

Wise words from Dr Les. Fergie is rapidly losing his marbles, as witnessed by millions of amused punters when he chose to stop watching the match vs Boro in favour of having a full-on, red-faced rant at Gareth Southgate over an incident that was so piffling that nobody, especially Gareth, knew what he was on about. Better send for a straitjacket sharpish, methinks.

Posted by Priesty. (an outstanding posting - Ed.)

I think you're hammering nails into the United coffin a bit too soon there. Whilst it is disappointing to be without Rio and Vida for the game tomorrow night it is important not to forget that United have a 2 (away) goal lead and that a reserve / youth team were unlucky to draw in Rome earlier on in the season (albeit I accept in a game that did not mean much for either side). Wishful thinking Dr.Les!

On rescheduling the Everton match

Les' Initial Comment:

"Playing around with the schedules is the last throw of the dice for those shadowy figures that do not want Chelsea to win a 3rd championship in 4 years. Unfortunately it will backfire and make Chelsea fight even harder. PS Utd will fall at Blackburn and get taken to Sketchleys at The Bridge. Game over."

The Backlash:

Moan moan moan.... is that all chelski do ? seroiusly you have had all season to get to the top of te league, lets not forget DR LESBO that it 2 titles in 51 years...

Posted by DR ASBO.

As you can see these on-line telegraph readers who respond to my considered comments are really the most stupid bunch of cunts you will ever meet. I think we should mobilise and use the Telegraph as a platform to spread the beautiful word that is Chelsea. Here’s the website. A prize for the one who can get the best reaction.

You see my point ?

Les.

Naturally. Bravo, Les. For once I am slightly impressed with your shenanigans !

Priesty.
