Klaus Tells It Like It Is
Sir,

With reference to your unusually incisive comment vis a vis the past season of association football in general and Chelsea Football Club in particular, I would like to state the following:

A season which started so gloriously at Wembley against the northern pub team, especially as that cunt Keane got sent off, collapsed faster than petfood.com to propel us to 17th, before the great Luca had to go.... There may be many arguments, but it is undoubtedly true that he missed the boat as far as refreshing the team was concerned.

If you look at the line up which won us the Cup you will find two players under 30 - Baba and Melchiot. If you look at the last game you will find four over 30 - Wise... Zola... Dessaily and Le Saux. What was so appalling was the timing of the sacking... I thought Luca lost it at Barca away last year and he should have gone in the summer. To replace him after 5 games with somebody who didn't speak English and didn't know our league without his own support staff was plainly incompetent.

I can only assume that the season was written off there and then.... In the mean time Pope Claudio the first has done remarkably well... We lost 4 out of the last 19 and won 5 out of the last 6 on the road. Players like John Terry, Sam Dalla Bona, Eidur Gudjohnsen and Mario Melchiot are all regulars and finished as well as could have been expected considering the inept management at the very top. if anybody has to go it has to be the managing director....presumably he takes decisions...

The next few weeks will see many changes - Wise.. Poyet..Le Saux.. Leboeuf and Ferrer will all be gone. Leon knight and Sam Parkin will be waiting in the wings. The summer will be an active one, but for next season I have nothing but optimism. We'll win the lot, beating all comers at the Bridge and the Arse away... As Confucius say:if you win at the library you win the title....

VIVA RANIERI...

Bravo, K.

Priesty.
