What a day. It all started off with my daughter explaining to me how I
have to bring my son up, and could I please communicate with my
ex-wife... it's getting more and more like AB FAB... Evenutally we got to the Fine Line, meeting a fellow loser as defined by
all the the tabloids since saturday previous (i.e. a German) and an old friend from the US
of A, who now will have understood the offside rule.... I just wish he'd
explain to half the fucking refs... The game itself was... well have we seen it all before.... same old Arsenal
always cheating, but all of a sudden some of Claudio's selections are
beginning to make a bit of sense.... De Goey was back to his best. The goal he couldn't be faulted for, but
thereafter he got better and better. Marcel proved yet again that he is
GOD and also that JT has a lot to learn, but what a teacher... Gallas
proved that he is a ballplayer and Socksy that there is life in the old dog. He
tackled like a dervish and got forward whenever he could. Zenden (how do
you pronounce his first name ?) started slowly and got better, whereas
Jesper started slowly and... one cynical tackle on him when thru on the
wing should have at least resulted in a yellow, but then Riley was as
inconsistant as the rest of his craft, so at least there was some
consistency... Jimmy's sending off was nothing but a disgrace. The
lesson learnt surely is, as soon as anybody touches you fall down. At least you get the free kick.
Pires nearly broke his shoulder trying to show Riley his
elbow - so fuck off and get a razor you cunt. As far as Keown is
concerned words fail me, but I will get some cheap but hard porn just to
remind myself of him. If JFH gets the same ban as Gerard then there is
something seriously wrong. Of course Arsehole Wanker didn't agree...
apparently he could spot Franco's tricky footwork some 50 yards away but
didn't see two fully grown men wrestle in front of him... somebody get a
bucket... In the end I was a lot more impressed than on the opening day of the saeson...
when it mattered the boys dug in... it wasnt pretty at times, but with this
committment we will beat lesser sides... and as we all know that's how
championships are being won... Claudio held his nerve and didn't take
Franco off and didn't replace jesper with Joka but with another attacker in
Stanic... with a bit more luck Lampard could have scored. Off to the Fulham Tup we went only to have some fat tart spotting that we were
German and wondering whether we had a good day on a certain Saturday... yes
we did....the DUTCH got knocked out... PS at half time GUS wandered around the pitch saying goodbye... and there
actually were chants for him during the second half.. must have been the
same muppets who cheered Fulham in the pub a couple of weeks ago... Priesty and
Les would have loved it....
