Welcome to Priesty´s Chelsea FC Refuge - In memory of Matthew Harding

Tottenham 2 Chelsea 3
16th September 2001
Sir,

What a day. It's 26 games and my 10 year old just wouldn't believe it was Gary Lineker who was the last player to score a winning goal for Spurs against Chelsea... He never knew he played football... He thought Lineker was just a crisp salesman... probably right...

Getting to WHL didnt prove a problem and for once I was sober throughout the game. Reality is OK when you're playing Tottenham... The first half was dire, but after the week the world had one should be forgiving... Not surprisingly there were some morons interrupting the minute's silence (for the victims of the World Trade Centre attack).. How you can HATE anybody on a day like that is beyond me... Wankers on both side of the fence here I'm afraid....

The first positive contribution by Lampard actually saw him getting to the byeline and cutting it back for Jimmy the God to head in. The mood amongst the great north London unwashed turned decidely Wagnerian until Man U reject teddy bear squeezed a rebound past Ed the great (incidentally the big screen spelt his name DE HOEY.... another Freudian slip to that well known Arse-supporting ex-Minister of Sport and Ken's bit on the side..)

During the second half the whole thing got a little more tetchy with Le Saux and Taricco throwing lipsticks at each other and Jimmy scroring from a totally legitimate penalty... I was about 80 yards away and had just as clear a view as Wenger, Houllier and Scots git had in the same circumstances. Teddy did it again... Lampard should have had a penalty, but got himself sent off instead (what a pratt).

Finally GOD Marcel headed the winner.. another 10 years... There is only one Alan Sugar... etc.. Had even more fun listening to TalkSport for the next three hours..... dozens of Spurs wankers telling the world that theirs is a big club..... They are not. They belong in the Nationwide and if they play like that they will end up there..

One final point... two of my fellow countrymen play for Spurs... neither of them are good enuff to get into the German first eleven... How depressing.

See you in Sofia.
