NHT 2.9

The newest model in NHT high performance music series, the 2.9 is a smaller version of the flagship 3.3. The 3.3's famous 12" woofer has been replaced with an equally astounding 10" unit, and the cabinet has been made slightly smaller. Otherwise, the designs are essentially identical. Like the 3.3, the 2.9 is a 4-way system, employing a 1" aluminum dome tweeter plus drivers for upper and lower midrange frequencies, along with anacoustic suspension side-loaded subwoofer. The careful use of multiple drivers for the upper-range frequencies allows each component to operate over its optimal range without strain. To maintain imaging coherency, we employ acoustically absorbent foam material precisely placed to reduce undesirable reflections. The result is a full-range system with uncommonly lowdistortion, incredible detail and wide dynamic range. This is the high-end sports carapproach to audio.
