SLIDELL, La.-- James W. Hill died at the Dixon Medical Center in Covington 7 Mar., aged 82.
James was born in Alex, Okla. He served in the US Marine Corps during World War II. He was a retired building contractor in the commercial and residential construction business. He had lived in Slidell for the last 13 years.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Sammie H. Clay; sons, Robert C. Hill, Shreveport and James W. Hill Jr., Metairie; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
HARVEY EDWARD HILL Jr.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.-- Harvey Edward ("Junie") Hill Jr. died in a local nursing home here 1 May, aged 76.
Junie was the son of Harvey E. Hill Sr. He was a Mason and member of Lynnhaven Lodge No.220 AF&AM. He was an enthusiastic ham radio operator with the call number "WB4KBT". He was a member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hulda Aileen ("Tootsie") Hill.
Burial was in Princess Anne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter Linda Richardson, Virginia Beach; son George L. ("Sonny") Hill, Virginia Beach; sisters Ruth Hill Baillio,Newport News and Sue Hill Dargert, Cupertino, Ca.; brother Roger L. Hill, Denver, Co.; and grandchildren Katelyn and Timothy Richardson.
EVELYN HILL DAVIS
ALBERTSON, NC--Evelyn Arlene Hill Davis died 31 May at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC, aged 60. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elton Ray Hill.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Pink Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Gwen Turner, Albertson; son, Brent Davis, Seven Springs; brothers Elsworth Hill, Augusta, Ga. and Preston Hill, Dudley; 3 grandchildren, Seth Turner, Caitlin Turner and Benjamin Davis.

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Wynelle Hill Jackson died at her home here 20 Apr., aged 61.
Wynelle was born 18 Nov., 1936 in Milton, Fla., dau- ghter of Reverend W. A. D. Hill and Alma Anderson. She lived most of her life in Columbus, where she was employed in sales. She was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God.
Burial was in Parkhill Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter Stephanie J.Clark, Atlanta; sons Jeff D. Jackson, Tampa, Fl. and M.Sgt. Greg Jackson, Warner Robins Air Force Base, Ga.; sisters Ruby Salter and Nell Pater, both of Columbus and Ladean Hastings, Pensacola, Fl.; 7 grandchildren.

Wife of Edward L. Hill Sr.
NORFOLK, Va.-- Edith Louise Hunnings Hill died here 9 Apr., aged 77. She was the wife of Edward L. ("Eddie") Hill Sr.
Edith was born 4 June, 1929 in South Creek, NC, the daughter of Joseph and Gertrude Hunnings. She had lived in Norfolk since 1925. She married Eddie in October, 1942. She was a member of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband Eddie; daughter Linda L. Sundquist, Harrisonburg, Va.; sons Robert L. Hill, Raleigh, NC and Edward L. Hill Jr., Norfolk; sister Doris H. Thomas, Charleston, SC; brother, W. Ronald Hunnings, Virginia Beach; and 8 grandchildren.
