HILL KENIMER

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Cynthia Schley Kenimer and Richard Braddock Hill Jr. were married here 7 Feb., at St. Paul Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Dupree and Rev. Stephanie Hudson officiated.

Richard is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Richard Braddock Hill Sr. of Columbus. Cynthia is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Guy Kenimer, Columbus.

Honor attendants were Carroll Pound, Salley Pound and Lucy Pound. The groom's father served as best man. A reception was held at the Country Club of Columbus. The couple is now living in Columbus.

HILL JOHNSON

NEW BERN, NC-- Thomas Stanton Hill of Fayetteville and Judith Hudson Johnson of Greenville were married here 20 Feb. in a ceremony performed by Rev. Walton Pettit at Christ Episcopal Church.

Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lloyd Hill of Goldsboro. He is a graduate of East Carolina University, Greenville. He is a teacher and coach with the Cumberland County school system at Fayetteville. Judith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jay Johnson of New Bern. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and East Carolina University.

Lori Osier of Greenville served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Wendy Hill of Fayetteville, sister of the groom, Helen Kafer of Roanoke Rapids and Sandy McKeel and Michelle Streeter of Greenville. John Hill served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Ronald Bailey of Spring Lake, Ronald Brown of Sanford, John Hill Jr. of Chapel Hill, brother of the groom, Jayson Belcher, New Bern and William Strickland, Fort Mill, SC.

The couple honeymooned at Ocho Rios, Jamaica in the Caribbean.

HILL DAY

MACON, Ga.-- Bethany Anne Hill and Michael Gerald Day, both of Macon, were married 4 April at Martha Bowman Methodist church here. Rev. Gary Berrier performed the ceremony.

Bethany is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lamar Hill of Macon. She is a 1993 graduate of Mount DeSales Academy here and attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. She is employed with Jackson Mercedes-Volvo as an administrative assistant.

Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Day of Macon. He is a 1983 graduate of Chapel Hill Academy, Macon and attended Georgia Southwestern University, Americus. He is employed with K-Mart as an operations manager.

HILL WALRATH

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Mr. and Mrs. John Club Hill of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Hill, to Lt. Shawn Walrath.

Heather is a 1994 graduate of Hardaway High School in Columbus and a 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed by Staffing Solutions as a recruiter.

Shawn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Walrath of Warner Robins, Ga. He is a 1990 graduate of Warner Robins High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of Georgia. He is now a lieutenant in the US Air Force, Intelligence Division. A 20 June wedding is planned at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church here.

HILL ANNIVERSARIES

WHITFORD and GLADYS HILL CELEBRATE 65th

RALEIGH, NC-- Wesley Whitford Hill and his wife Gladys Valeria Stroud celeberated their 65th wedding anniv- ersary 25 Sept. at the Capital City Club. The Hill's five children hosted the celebration. Entertainment was provided by The North Carolina Cloggers and The Nutty Buddy Gang, a clown troupe led by their niece, Katheryn Hill Kilpatrick.

Whitford and Gladys, both born in Lenoir County, NC, were married 21 April, 1933 in Marion, South Carolina. Among the family attending were children, their spouses and grandchilden, including daughters Sue Hill Rogers, Raleigh; Eleanor Hill Goettee and husband Joe, Cary, NC; Marsha Hill Reidhill and husband Jack, Washington, DC; sons Dr. Roger Hill and wife Ann, Wilmington, NC and Douglass B. Hill, Sacremento, Calif. The couple has five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
