PHENIX CITY, Ala.--Bill and Rhonda Johnson of Phenix City announce the birth of their daughter, Summer Laine Johnson, born 1 July, 1997 at The Medical Center in Columbus, Ga.
Grandparents are Mrs. Betty Johnson and the late Jack Johnson and Mr. & Mrs. John Stahlman, Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Clenney. Great grandparents are Mrs. Ruby Horton and Mr. & Mrs. Ed Hagler.
SMITHVILLE, Tenn.--Jaimee Hornsby and her husband Thad Underwood of Smithville announce the birth of their daugh- ter Alexa Nicole Underwood, born 19 Aug. She weighed in at 8 lbs., 8 ozs. and was 21 inches long.
Alexa is the granddaughter of Teri Johnson and her husband Phillip Hornsby of Iron City, Ga. She is the great granddaughter of the late Brewster Benjamin Johnson of Seminole County, Ga. and Niza Middleton; great great granddaughter of Benjamin James Johnson and Eliza E. Conyers; ggg granddaughter of James Allen Johnson (a Confederate Soldier) and Emily E. Morgan; gggg granddaughter of Benjamin Johnson and his wife Elizabeth.

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Amy Dianne and Jeffrey William Johnson Sr. of Columbus announce the birth of a son, Jeffrey William Junior, born 24 Dec. at The Medical Center here. Grand- parents are Joe and Becky Johnson and Terry and Dianne Fields. Great grandparents are Virginia Johnson, Bud and Murtle Fender, Billy and Claudia Brescia.
DUDLEY, NC-- Tim and Amy Johnson announce the birth of a daughter, Macy Carolyn, born 6 Apr. at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. She was welcomed home by her little brother, Nicholas. Grandparents are Ray and Brenda Johnson, Grantham and the late Carolyn Kornegay Johnson and Rey and Pat Ovalle, Goldsboro.
COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Michael Thayer Johnson and his wife Dorothy Lester announce the birth of a son, David Thayer, born 2 Apr. at The Medical Center here. Grandparents are Rev. and Mrs. Henry McCoy Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson Lester Jr.
CATAULA, Ga.-- John Wade Johnston Jr. and his wife Deena Sue Massie announce the birth of a son, Noah Zachariah, born 2 Apr. at The Medical Center in Columbus, Ga. Grandparents are Johnny and Lou Johnston and Thomas and Orleta Massie. Great grandfather is Rev. H. I. Ludwick.
COLUMBIA, Miss.--Mrs. Margie Johnson celebrated her 100th birthday 27 Sept. at The Grove Nursing Home here, where she has resided for the last three years.
Margie was born 25 Sep., 1897 in Marion County. She is the mother of 10 daughters, 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. One daughter, Mary Thompson, is deceased.
Present for the party were her daughters Olga Dease, who died soon afterward; Quinnie Sinclair, Alvilda Fletcher, Erselle Brasell, Betty Cook, Bobbye Robinson, Hazel Pope, Billye Applewhite and Jerrye Lamousin. Also attending were her sisters Betty Mack and Daisy Fossom, both of Columbia; and a number of other relatives and friends. Refreshments were served to the guests and all residents of the nursing home.
