George Lanier was born Feb. 16, 1886 on Kissimmee Island and died in 1967.

According to the Okeechobee County 1920 census, George was living with his brother Ira Lanier. Both brothers were fishermen on Lake Okeechobee. From my research, George was not married at the time and Henry was not born as yet. As I investigate further, will try to fit all the missing pieces, dates, etc. George was a musician as he played the fiddle.
