Latest Images
These are the latest (and possibly) greatest snippets from the Sun Catcher animation. At this point there are no actual animation files included due to filesize constraints, however this will be remedied soon.
This image shows a closer look at the pillars as they stand at the moment though the capitals will be different shortly. Also visible are the candelabra along the back wall. At this frame the camera is starting to move upwards towards top of the dome which explains the odd angle.
This image displays the actual Sun Catcher in full bloom. Notice the stark difference in lighting from the first image - this is the type of feel that I'm trying to achieve in the animation. Interestingly, when this is viewed in the animation with the same lighting parameters the render is not as bright.
The candelabra are not present in this shot, nor are the human figures.
