Wished for Child X Whirlwind Tour

The goal: testing the transmission of TB-like foliage and onco-like form.  The maternal line of Wished for Child traces back to TBs, and I had noticed a lessened tendency toward summer dormancy.  Whirlwind Tour is a child of Whirlwind Romance, and inherited its relatively rounded form.

On maiden bloom, the seedlings were screened for strong growth habits, good form, and strong substance. These three continued to perform well and were eventually selected for their colors and patterns.
