The responsibilities of this committee are:
To cooperate with the Diocesan Justice ad Peace Commission in promoting various world, national and local concerns.
To sponsor parish forums on peace and justice issues.
To distribute materials regarding peace and justice concerns.
To actively work for peace in the world.
To work for prison reform, welfare and child care, aid to the retarded and handicapped.
To study and seek solutions to job discrimination, migrant workers, world hunger, poverty, sanctuary movement, human rights and other related issues.
To examine other justice issues such as discrimination, racism, environmental issues and take appropriate action.
To care for the sick, the shut-in and the lonely.
