Sunday Church School seeks to provide our children with a firm understanding of the Bible (especially the
gospels), the history of the Christian Church on Earth, and how the lessons of the church apply to their
lives. Through instruction and special events such as Rally Day and the SCS Christmas Program, the SCS program
seeks to engage young minds and help them in their spiritual growth.

SCS is held every Sunday at St. James at 9:30 a.m. September through May for children age three through eighth
grade. The program year is divided into three semesters. |

Teachers may sign up for one, two, or three
semesters in the grade of their choice. Please check
the sign-up posters in the narthex.
