Ok, so you believe. Now for the second principle, patience. Patience and the internet are not exaclty synonymous. In fact, it's often said in my business (electronic commerce consulting) that three months equals one internet year. It's hard to be patient. We have instant access to information and knowledge. Analysts on TV, day traders on the internet, are all telling you what their favorite stocks are. Throughout the trading day we are swamped with misleading advice. Advice that says buy, sell, do something. Don't believe the day to day hype. Over the last two years there have been at least several instances when the major market indices have corrected 10% or greater from their yearly highs. Wait for these corrections before buying the Market Leading Technology Companies. If you're already invested in some of them, take this time to bask in your glory that your stocks are going up. Read about their stellar quarterly performances. Watch the interviews on TV with their CEOs. Learn their business. Count your money. Even better, work hard so you can accumulate cash while you wait for the inevitable correction. Spend more time with your family. Work out. Take up a hobby. Create a website. But don't buy and think twice about selling your stocks. It's fun being a bull. Hang out with all the other bulls and brag about how great your stocks are doing. Cause there will come a time when the bulls get scared of the bears and they hide. They hide because they lose their belief and don't have the guts to buy Market Leading Technology Companies.
