Step 4- With watercolors, when I paint one color on top of another, the first color shows through. Notice that you can still see the shadows I painted in Step 3. This layer of brighter colors is just the beginning. (For the striped wall in the background, I used a special tool called an airbrush which sprays the paint on.)
