Limericks by Dixie

A Rocky Start

"Frank-N-Furter" was seething with sex;
Tim's fans wondered what would come next?
Mr. Curry just smiled
And in accents quite mild
Said, "I never repeat my effects!"

Get a Clue

As Wadsworth, did Curry assert,
"Be calm and no one will get hurt!"
With the killer exposed,
Tim calmly proposed,
"Now, what about fruit...or dessert?"

Oh, Hello, Your Majesty...

The Cardinal gasped in surprise
And rolled his malevolent eyes;
Thinking he was alone
He'd ascended the throne
And was trying the crown on for size...

Linda's Legend

In all of his sinister glory,
Lord Darkness sought joy amatory;
Then later he fell
To some personal hell,
...But is that the end of the story??...

Tim Treasure

A sea-faring yarn we've been told:
About buccaneers hearty and bold;
Miss Piggy was there,
Getting in Kermie's "hair,"
While Silver made off with the gold.

'Tis Folly to Be Wise...

Mr. Newquay had figured a scheme
With ill-gotten gains as its theme;
A rock star at last,
He returned to the past:
In a nightmare disguised as a dream...

Oscar Material

Self-effacingly shy Thornton Poole
Lived by every grammatical rule;
Just along for the ride,
He wound up with a bride
And proved he was nobody's fool.

Is This Dancer Taken?

Warming up with gratuitous grope,
Boyd had learned with divorce how to cope;

He was heard to declare:
"Oh, I'll sleep anywhere!"
Thereby giving the rest of us hope...

Orphans, Bah!

As Rooster, audacious and brash,
Tim was after a fistful of cash;
His scheme was well-planned
But Fate took a hand
And he came down to earth with a crash.

Pass the Plate

Reverend Ray was a hellfire preacher
Whose greed was his outstanding feature:
He sang, "Praise the Lord!"
For an earthly reward,
Till his "pupils" outsmarted their teacher...

Oliver Twisted

As husbands go, Sykes was a hound
Who in infancy should have been drowned;
After robbing his wife
Of her miserable life,
He just couldn't stop hanging around...

Monkey Business

Congo mined an unfortunate trend
With Tim getting killed at the end;
Its moral was plain:

No gain, only pain;
Diamonds weren't a fellow's best friend...

It's Titanic!

A steward with something to hide
Never left his lust unsatisfied:
When the vessel "unsinkable"
Did the unthinkable,
Simon went out with,--the tide...

About That Meecrofilm...

While trying the free world to save,
Without ending up in a grave,
The cops glumly blunder
And none of them wonder
Why that "Vilderness Girl" needs a shave...

Clowning Around

The grim fairy tale that King wrote
Gives our Timmy a chance to emote:
As a psychotic clown
Terrorizing a town
--And teaching small children to...float.
