We chose to have a very small, private ceremony, in the meadow overlooking the inn. In the meadow we set up a table with a tablecloth and flowers, wine glasses, a bottle of red wine, and a bottle of white wine, two small bowls -— one containing rice, the other bowl oats, and another larger bowl.  Under the table we had George's boom box -- for music.

Despite a tornado warning the evening before, we awoke to a perfect spring morning, clear blue sky and light breeze.

Opening music:

Vivaldi’s Concerto in D Major for Lute. (CD by guitarist Eliot Fisk.)

Convocation:

The minister shared some thoughts on love, and on marriage.
