Day 2
Up early, down
for breakfast and then to the riverfront to meet Finn and the guys. We had time
because sound check wasn't until 4pm and the food, wine and conversation was
very enjoyable.
Sound check
was a bit disorganised but everything sounded okay so we left to decide the set
list and to shoot this little promo video for 100% coffee (more later).
The place was
jammed and the crowd was fantastic, as always. They didn't notice the little
things that were causing chaos on stage but, for me, the show was difficult and
nowhere near as good as it could have been. Sometimes it goes like that.
Almost
immediately after the encore, the lightning and thunder delivered some rain. We
have a lot to be thankful for!
But the
after-show vibe was good and a few of us headed to the riverfront for a nightcap
or two or…..
Black Eagle
was there again and we eventually left our quiet table and climbed aboard. Miss
Enigma was there again too and I still didn't have a chance to get behind her
eyes. Can't be sure if they are lying or simply concealing a mystery. I'll have
to wait….
It got late
quickly and I was happy to see my bed, even happier to remember that Sunday is a
day off and I have to do ….. NOTHING!
