Day 4
The band
arrived safely and we all wandered down to enjoy some (extremely) hard boiled
eggs and the rest of the stuff that goes with a ¨continental¨ breakfast.
The plan for
the day was quite simple but I already had my doubts about the promoter who
seemed more interested in getting back-stage passes for his family than any
operational questions we had.
But our first
sound check went smoothly enough, the venue was cool and the people were helpful
enough.
Dinner was
excellent and then it was time for a quick shower and to get ready for our first
show in 6 months!
The gig was
great. We were a little rusty in a couple of places but the crowd loved it and
roared us on all the way.
