Back To Winter….

Day 8:

Another beautiful sunny day here ….. seems as though Summer just slithered in after two days of Spring!

I finally got my flight change confirmed and headed for the airport. The flight to Oslo was a little less than two hours and no problem but the cab ride into Oslo was, as usual, quite ridiculous. Almost an hour and very expensive, a normal person has to wonder why they built it so far away from town. I have heard that it´s somehow connected to the winter Olympics in Lillehammer (1984?) and there are all kinds of conspiracy theories about it, including a murder in Denmark but let´s just say that it´s a pain in the butt!!

But Oslo´s a nice town and the hotel is great so I enjoyed my (almost) day off.

Almost, because my good friend and star of Norwegan radio, Finn Bjelke asked me to appear on his nightly radio show so, after dinner, off we went.

We talked a bit, I played three songs live (the broadcast was live, I was half-dead!) and I bopped back to the hotel.

As I enjoyed a glass of wine in my room (one of the only places in Norway where I could smoke!) I suddenly realised (duh!) that I am really surprisingly busy!! This all started after the Blood On The Highway CD was released and it seems to be getting more intense all the while.

I will need to be careful with the scheduling, for a number of important reasons!
