Back To Winter….
Day 9:
Magne picked
me up at the hotel and it was good to see the band again. We have this cool
rehearsal place in the outskirts of Oslo and we would be making some changes to
the set for Lillehammer where we will play for only 75 minutes.
We focussed on
the changes and planned to run the whole show tomorrow but we ended up going
through most of it anyway.
The band feels
so much more confident now and I think that´s because Tom is more confident in
his position as the band´s powerhouse and time-keeper. He has a new deal with
Tama and a new glittery purple drum kit and I think that helps too. He´s
certainly louder than he was!!
It´s obvious
to me that Sid and Tom have done some homework too, because they are really
tight and, when the rhythm section is in sync, everything has more energy!
By the end of
the day we were feeling pretty good about the set list so we called it a day and
I went back to the hotel and tried to figure out how I would stay awake until
late enough to ……. you know what ….. the ¨S¨ word …. and enjoy a lazy evening/night.
So I packed
my bags, ready to check out tomorrow morning (I am transferring up to
Lillehammer to do a solo concert in the evening).
