February 11th 2003 The Last Dance is the title track of the
CD and it's about 10 minutes long. We decided to "learn"
this one in the studio and to develop it with input from everyone.
The end result is amazing and I am really hoping that you will like
it. It's a "story" song with the sub-title "El Gitano
Viejo" and it moves through a lot of musical and lyrical changes.
The arrangement we ended up with is so strong that even I am still
sitting here wondering how we got there! I am so excited about this
track and after settling on the final arrangement we decided to
call it a day and rest, ready to cut this track tomorrow. |
