Hi again!!
Well, we have finished the tracks for The Last Dance and now it's
time to begin the overdubs!! I had four songs from which to choose
the last track and then one of those "funny" things happened...
I was riding in the back of Jose Manuel's car as we looked for locations
for a quick photo shoot
and I had my guitar on my lap when suddenly a song idea came into
my head. So I started strumming a few chords and then the nuts and
bolts of a new song came together. A couple of days later I was
driving to a meeting when the lyrics started coming and I had to
pull over and write them down. One more day in the studio and there
it was... done! This doesn't happen a lot (although it is similar
to the Easy Livin story!)
So now we have all 11 basic tracks down, a really solid foundation
and everything should start to grow from there.
Now I have to do some homework on parts and vocals ready to get
serious again on Monday... I'll keep in touch.
