March 12th 2003 Hi again... Today we finished all the Hammond parts. We used some different microphone placements and some new "tricks" that created quite a difference but we still captured "that" sound in a lot of places too! And now it's back to the remaining guitar parts and Ovidio comes back tomorrow (he has been working with Rod Stewart in Madrid) to add some more of his personal magic!!! There's lots of little (but still important) stuff like loops, sequences and percussion to be done but the next major step is to finish the vocals and backing vocals and then..... MIXING!! We haven't decided where we will mix yet but there are a number of options most of which will mean spending a week away but that's okay too!! More at the end of the week and Rod is going to tell you all about an auction we are going to do to raise money for an orphanage. God bless, Ken <>< Next day...
