April 1st 2003

I am happy to say that my cold is much better and we have again been able to make good progress. A few more lead vocal tracks, a little bit of percussion and backing vocals and it's off to start mixing. We expect to leave for Madrid on Friday and the plan is to deliver the CD in mid-May, after it's mastered and all the graphics, lyrics, notes and credits have been compiled. I am really, really happy with the way this CD is sounding and I am determined to make sure that we don't cut any corners this time and to make sure that this is a CD that is much more than you expect!

In between times I have a short tour of Russia to do which climaxes in Moscow on the 26th where we will be performing with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra. Rehearsals for this show will actually take place INSIDE The Kremlin so we'll be breaking a lot of new ground and I really enjoy new challenges like this! There will be two shows on the 26th... one with just the band and the other with the band and orchestra and both will be recorded and filmed for a double DVD to be released in early September. So we are working really hard and hoping that you will have a lot of new and exciting choices this year and into next year. As always I will keep you posted from here, there and everywhere and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible along this mysterious and incredible road we share.

Let me just say that you are all in my prayers and a special prayer goes out to anyone and everyone involved in all conflict anywhere, whether directly or indirectly. I really hate what's going on in Iraq (as well as other places) and hope that it ends soon for everyone's sakes.

God bless and keep you all,

Ken
