A busy morning… catching up with this and
other business and preparing for a radio interview on Europa Plus.
It was there I found out that it was Peter (the first) who founded
this city 400 years ago in response to the need for Northern port
to serve world trade (not THAT again!) and it was he who named it.
No-one seemed to know why so I'll have to wait to ask Peter the
first!!
Soon after enthusing about the show on radio I found out that the
equipment was nowhere near adequate and that we couldn't play today…
major bummer! We came to play! The plan is to do the show tomorrow
which is okay with me but they have a lot of work to do to get the
stuff we need and we have no choice but to let the Russians sort
it out. We just got back from lunch so I am going to take a little
siesta and see what happens… more soon!!
