DAY 13
The drive to Rauma was long and not easy as many
of the roads were covered in packed snow and the temperature was
-7C!!!
We took it easy though and made it safely after being on the road
for nearly 7 hours. Dave took over the driving for the last 2 hours
so I could take a nap!
Once there we helped set up on another small stage! The gig was
actually IN the hotel where we were staying so that was cool!
Martin arrived from England and took some video of the show which
we will look at tomorrow. This was the best show so far from a playing
point of view. We all felt that and the noise during "Lady
In Black" was fantastic!! We have done a new arrangement which
takes nothing away from the song and adds new vitaility to it. I
love it, the band loves it and the crowds have reacted positively
so I hope you will like it too!
Apart from the disco music that the DJ played before and after the
show we all fet good and we stumbled off to bed at around 4am!!
These late gigs (we usually go on stage just after midnight) take
some getting used to!!!
