DAY 2

My schedule here is very busy and it started with an interview with the magazine "Music Box", which took place at Sony's office. It was a good interview and now I began to get a sense of how important the band and the music really are in this country! Sergei was with us all day and must have taken a million pictures!

After a brief business meeting with Sony, we went for a walk to Red Square for more pictures and so I could see a little bit more of Moscow by day. It's a really cool city actually, amazing buildings and fur hats everywhere! (I must get one!)

After being stopped by a soldier for my passport (I think they thought I was Chechnyan or something) we caught a taxi back to the hotel. To get a taxi in Moscow you just stand in the street with your arm out and get in the first car that stops… very interesting!

Now I had to get ready to go to MTV for a live show and to record a news program. This was really fun though I broke a string in the middle of "The Wizard"! After the show I was met by a lot of fans outside the building for autographs and photos. Perhaps the most interesting part of this was the fact that the oldest of them was probably 15!! I'd love to get that audience into my music!!!

Anyway, it all went well and after a late dinner, I was again glad to get back to my room!

Next day...
