TAG DREI

Well… it didn't happen! One silly defensive lapse and we gave Sweden a goal!! England looked good, especially in the first half and they deserved to win this game so we were all a bit disappointed.

We spent most of this day travelling from Wetzlar to Berlin which is about a 7 hour drive. Bob (our driver) has to stick to some pretty fixed rules regarding the hours he can drive continuously so planning is really important. But we had to find a place to watch the game because TV on the bus it at the mercy of where we are at any particular point in time! Bob found us a bar in a truck stop and hid the remote controls so no-one could change the channels!!

Then it was on to Berlin and we parked the bus in the secure car park at the venue. The staff were waiting for us and treated us so wonderfully. The weather was lovely and we were very comfortable right away. I would like to thank Rainer, Manuela and Mike for this… it was very special!! To finish off the day we found a great little restaurant and enjoyed some typical German food and Bavarian beer. Back to the bus, watch a little "Fawlty Towers" and then… bunk! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Next day...
