DAY 6

I can't believe it's almost time to leave. This must have been the fastest five days of my life (or was it six?). The big question this morning was… "how on earth am I going to get all that back in this suitcase?". Even without the Vodka, Fur Hats, Caviar and stuff I had been given, I faced a big challenge here!!!!

It was time for me to prepare to leave for Helsinki where I would be meeting the band and preparing to start the tour but first I still had a little business to attend to… I attended the grand opening of another music store and signed what seemed like thousands of CDs, albums and other stuff… grateful again to meet so manhy of the fans for the very first time. I think we are going to have a great time when we come here to play!!

Then we had to rush to an interview at 102.5 which is the Russian national radio station. As usual it was a great interview and again I was amazed at how much information the interviewer had. As result, some of the questions went much deeper than usual and I love how people here are so attached to the "details" of the songs like lyrics and melodies and how much the music seems to mean to them!

Then it was back to Sony's office for some quick good-byes, a couple more photos and off to the airport. No real problems just long, long lines everywhere but, as usual I had allowed plenty of time. This had been one of the busiest and most successful trips of my career and I shall have a lot to reflect on!!

Before I knew it we were landing in Helsinki, the flight was only 1 hour and 20 minutes and there was Yatta (crew chief) and Mika (agent) to meet me and take me to the hotel where I met the band and we sat down for a quick dinner/meeting. Then it was off to bed as we had an early start in the morning.

Next day...
