Never appearing in US-spec Toyotas, the two-liter,
twin-cam 18RG and its derivatives are some of
the most highly sought-after replacement engines for Celicas. Yamaha
made the alloy head for Toyota in the mid-70s and early 80s. Unfortunately,
nowadays few good blocks can be found. Australian enthusiasts fare much better
in this respect!
