Play By Email Campagins
"The Darkening"

This Dungeons and Dragons play by email game ran from March 1995 to October 1995. It was my first attempt at PBeM as it was for all the players. We lost and gained a few players during this game. I started it by picking six of my friends and sending them the intro to the game. They all awoke in a desert with no memories or gear. Around them was the remains of a great battle just fought. Not knowing themselves, their companions or where they were, the group had to find their way out of the desert, slowly regain their memories and find out what brought them there. The ending was left open and flowed naturally into Part 2 - The Game.
