About Me

My name is Doug Heavener, I am 22 years old and was born and raised in Punta Gorda Florida. I graduated from Charlotte High School in 1992 and went into the Army. I went to Basic Training at Ft. Jackson South Carolina and did my advanced individual training at The Naval Amphibious Base in Norflok VA. After 6 months of training, I left VA and was stationed at Ft. Knox KY where I spent the better part of 3 years serving in the 113th Army Band.

I recieved an honerable discharge with disability for a Glaucoma condition I incurred during my stay in the army on April 15, 1996, and came back to my home town of Punta Gorda. I attended another semester of college at Edison Community College in Ft. Myers Florida for music education, and since have run out of money and am now working for a pennance of what I once was. BUT I am learning all kinds of fascinating stuff about HTML as a result of building this page from the ground up.

I enjoy listening to jazz, reading books, especially Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Robin Cook, Robert Fulghrum, Michael Chrichton, and True Crime books by Vincent Bugliosi. I like to spend time surfing the web looking for the next best thing to hit, and I can't wait until May-June because cable modems will be coming to this area by then, and I can't wait.....

I live with my girlfriend Denise and she says I veg. in front of the computer too much as it is, so if this page is not updated as often as the others sorry.

Well we are now 32 Weeks pregnant, and are expecting anytime now. Sorry that this page is updated so infrequently, but work is a bitch ya know.
