As channeled by Marcia Wilson

Many voices have been heard in mourning, many
voices in sadness and many
voices in prayerful communication. In times
where there is no direction
that is forseeable, we lift our eyes to the
heavens for answers. We
beseech and sometimes plead for leadership and
guidance. Without that
communicative strand or connection, we would feel
quite hopeless and in
despair. When there is chaos and disturbances on
earth, there is no one
voice which can expect to speak for all. We can
hope that there is a
voice that will reason or will be reasonable or
will reason out the
unknown that we seek. Unfortunately, that cannot
be accomodated. We
have to trust and wait to hear what our leaders
tell us as we strive to
continue in our daily routines.
The voice of reason is, many times, spoken
through various people, but
there is no one who will take it to heart. We
continue to be in
darkness and the path that lies ahead seems dark
and long. What can we
do in times like these? How can we function and
prepare for that which
must be faced? We can be our own voice of
reason. We can think of how
we meet each day and how we communicate with
others. Do we let the
happenings around us drag us down or do we rise
above it? It is not
that these times will be easy. They will not,
but we can prepare our
inner selves to be protected from the outer
world. It is in the inner
world that we can go for comfort for there in the
deepest part of that
world is always a voice of reason. There, we can
go to withdraw from
the outer influences and the stresses and
strains, and there we can find
peace. We can then take that influence, that
feeling, that knowledge,
and bring it into the light by trying to manifest
it in our life
outwardly. To be that voice of reason may be
that of a small action, or
act, to think of others before the self, to reach
out to those who are
hurting and to try to help mend their spirit as
they suffer through
their sadness. We all have something to offer
and in that offer, we
must remember that the voice that we do not see
is the voice we should
listen to, the voice that guides us....... that
is the true Voice of
Reason.
