Do you feel it or do you hear it? Do you sense
the difference in the
atmosphere? Can you hear the silence and yet
sense the activity? The
world is different and will continue to be in an
ever changing state.
War changes things on many levels and changes
things in many
individuals' paths. More choices will have to be
made. Individuals
will have to find the time to ponder for there
will be need of clear
heads. To know the direction that one must take,
one must listen. It
is difficult to listen when the energies are
upset and the focus turns
to war and survival.
In uneasy times when worry seems a constant
companion, when we fight to
stay sane, when we try to remember the important
things in life, the
Self can become unbalanced. Each individual must
deal with coming times
of unrest in the best way possible and only that
individual knows the
best for himself/herself. If there is no
knowing, if there isn't a
conscious effort to seek balance, then the
changing times can be a
tilting kind of living on a daily basis.....
rather like a ship shifting
from side to side. You may not feel you know
what is best, you may feel
lost or frightened, but there is an inner
guidance. Though you may not
be able to hear it, you can try, strive, to reach
a quiet moment...to
take the time to feel/hear the inside of Self and
momentarily move away
from the unrest that is taking place. It is too
easy to let the mind
get overpowered with all the things that are
going on. When your
survival is threatened it is even harder to think
clearly and calmly.
Try to find a few moments alone. Try to take a
few slow breaths and
calm the body down and calm the mind to keep it
from being like a
runaway train. Support yourself, but also
support each other. Give
assurance to those who need an extra helping of
care, but always
remember to not be so giving that your own Self
is deprived. Build on
strength as building with blocks ...one at a
time. Don't expect so much
that you find yourself chastizing yourself if you
are feeling frightened
or lacking in confidence, in knowing what to do.
Concentrate on feeling
balance, concentrate on hearing the harmony that
comes from inner
balance. It is a fine line between feeling and
hearing but as they go
side by side, you will find that you can more
easily move through the
uproar of upheaval. Be calm, be courageous,
stand tall as the wonderful
individual you are.
