Just another TuesdayFriday
August 5, 1997
St Kilda East.I really don't like Tuesdays. I just never seem to have a good one. Yet it wasn't as bad as yesterday, and not nearly as bad as last Friday. I suppose I'm talking about work when I refer to liking or not liking a day.
Nancy rang today. I was glad to hear her message when I got home. I thought (as I always do) that she wasn't going to bother to get in touch whilst her sister was here. I thought this this very morning when I was getting ready for work, I wonder if she knew that.
I have been trying to post yesterdays entry, but I can't seem to get on the net to get it up. I fear that I'm having ISP problems, and I don't even want to go there.
Party of Five is on tonight. I missed it last week, no not last week the week before. Anyway I look forward to watching it. In the same timeslot on Tues evenings BH90210 used to be on, and Scott and I would sit down before hand and read the Inquisitor summary for that ep and watch it. (a la Sage), we used to piss ourselves laughing. Since PoF is sooo bad we seem to be able to keep up our own commentary, "Oh and she's like "You kissed her!"".
I didn't pay the bills again today, I'm sure the phone is going to be cut off.
When we say things do we venture comments or questions because we know the answers, and therefore safe enough to ask? Or do we really want answers. I have really been struggling with this question lately. Of course those banal fact finding questions we ask are exempt, but those other utterances for which we expect an answer but are often disappointed. Is it because the answer isn't what we expected or phrased how we wanted to hear it?
I have been bringing work home to finish. Is this bad? I'm in two minds about it. At the moment the work that's coming home allows me to get to work an hour later and leave 25mins early. I think I'm winning.
