Coleco Hair Types

1983-1989
The following information is for Coleco kids only. I have compiled a list of different hair types found on CPK's. The main thing to remember when looking at different hair types are key words like SINGLE, DOUBLE and LOOPED. I hope this information may help you! I have been doing a lot of reading and emailing other CPK collectors on the terminology of the hair types, so please bear with me. I any of you may have other hair types that are not listed here please email a picture and description to me and I will add it to this site ( I will credit the info with your name). CPK Hair Type	Hair Name	Description
	Single Pony Tail	Thick or thin pony tail.
	Double Pony Tail	Double ponies are pretty obvious.
	Double Braids	Two ponies in braids. Some of the kids came with looped or shaggy bangs
	Poodle Single Pony	Poodle hair is basically looped hair all over except for a couple of single straight yarns coming out of the top of the kids head
	Poodle Double Pony	The only difference to double poodle is obviously the addition of another pony. Two ponies withing the looped hair.
	Looped/ Poodle	Looped hair is the most popular hair style found in most kids, especially boys.
	Shag	Shaggy hair looks basically like looped hair that has been cut.
	Fuzzy	Fuzzy hair looks like shaggy hair that has been combed out
	Crimped	Crimped hair looks like a very tight wave. I have seen crimped hair in single and double pony hairstyles as well.
	Curls Shirley Temple	Shirley Temple curls are obviously like Shirley Temple's, usually found on cornsilk kids.
	Cornsilk	Nylon hair that has been styled in various ways. Sometimes straight, curls, waves, braids or flat tops
Preemie	Bald	Completly no hair at all
Babie	Tuft	Tuft hair is basiclly a small bunch of hair on top of a bald head. I believe they are also called top knot?
*	Popcorn	Popcorn hair looks like hair that has been looped within itself, looking more like a chain link
Clown girl	Double Popcorn	Double popcorn hair is the same style as popcorn hair but with 2 ponies
