1 teasp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/2 lb. almonds finely ground
extra confectioner's sugar
mix egg white, cinnamon and sugar until well
blended. Set aside 1/4 cup. Add ground nuts
to remaining mixture. Roll out on sugar dusted
board to 1/8" thick, cut with star cutter, brush
with reserved egg mix stiffend with additional
sugar for frosting. Bake 20 minutes
3/4 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
1 teasp almond extact
1/4 teasp salt
1/2 teasp baking powder
2 3/4 cups flour
Mix ingredients in order given, mixing
until smooth and well blended. Put
dough into a cookie press and mold
into any shapes desired on baking
sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
