Saint Patrick's Day (March 17th), is an Irish holiday honoring Saint Patrick, the missionary credited with converting the Irish to Christianity (in the A.D. 400's). In America, Saint Patrick's Day is a time to wear green and party. The first American celebration of Saint Patrick's Day was in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1737. Welcome to my St. Partick's Day pages. I have always enjoyed this holiday. To me St. Pat means the beginning of spring. I have some history, recipies, fun sayings and jokes, Irish blessings, and other fun things. Look around and enjoy! May the wind be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; The rain fall soft upon your fields And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
