Homemade Butter

Ingredients:
•1 pint heavy whipping cream

Tools you'll need:
•1 empty quart jar with tight-fitting lid
•1 strainer (colander)
•Decorative candy molds (optional)

Directions:

•Pour the cream into the jar. Leave some space at the top of the jar.

•Shake the jar for about 15 minutes and you'll start to feel and
hear the clumps of butter forming.

•Put a strainer over a bowl and pour the butter chunks and liquid
through the strainer. Your homemade butter will be left in the strainer.
You can now put it into decorative candy molds for fancy butter.
Or just use it as is. Either way just put it in the refrigerator until ready to use.

(You may sprinkle salt, to taste, over the butter chunks if desired.)
