Are You Sure???

If you died right now, where would you spend eternity?

No fence sitting allowed! There are only two choices. When you die, you will go to either heaven, or hell. It doesn't matter of you believe it or not, or if you like it or not. It's true, and there are no other options.

Everyone has sinned. Romans 3:23 tells us that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Because of that sin, you are separated from God.

Hebrews 9:27 says "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgement." In Ecclesiastes 12:14 we resd, "For God will bring every act to judgement, everything that is hidden, whether it is good or evil." When you die, you will be judged by God, who is holy and perfect, for everything you've done here on earth. If you died today, what would the verdict be?

Maybe you think "I'm a good person, God will let me into heaven." That's not what Scripture teaches. There is no verse in the Bible that says "Be a good person and you shall be saved." There are lots of good people, but what counts is where you stand with God.

Maybe you think "I'll do it later. I don't want to serve God now. I want to have my fun. I'll worry wbout God when I get older, or later, when I have more time. After I get out of high school, after I graduate from college, after I get married, after I have children, after I retire..." whatever. the list goes on and on. Excuses don't count with God. And you're not guaranteed tomorrow.

You can't play games with God, and hope God will pull you in at the last minute. You have to make a choice! You cannot remain neutral. There are only two sides. Heaven or Hell. Which will you choose?

Are you a follower of Jesus? Are you living for Him? If you're not, you need to be. If you want to follow Jesus, the steps of salvation are really simple:

You have to believe it is true. (For more about believing the Gospel, Click Here!)

You have to repent of your sins. Repenting doesn't mean to just feel sorry for what you've done it means turning away from your sin, trying to leave a perfect life, with the help of God.(For more about repenting of your sins, Click Here!)
