William M. Bastin, and two of his daughters are shown in this photo. From left to right are Pearl, William, and Annie. William was the eldest son of Thomas and Louanna (Shofner) Bastin. He married Nancy Jane Ennis on 22 April 1865 in Hart County, KY (marriage bond: 17 April 1865 in Green County, KY) upon returning from service in the Federal Army. (Their marriage was recorded in Munfordville, KY, but the Hart County courthouse burned, destroying the record.) They lived in Metcalfe County, KY. Is the photo identified as a young D.W. Smith also a photo of William M. Bastin? It sure looks like William M. Bastin! Anyone know for sure?
