Critter Page

My critters are always a good source of entertainment. The following are just some of their everyday antics.

Tigger "The Mamma" setting the pecking order with Sara, the Cat slimer..... Aug.87-Dec.99

BJ with two of the furballs, Tigger and Frosty. Sara,"The Slimer", waiting near by for a chance to play with her furry pals. Can't tell who has run of the ranch by this picture huh.

Frosty, "the Barn Cat".
As you can see she carries the attitude... "Dog, I"m gonna hurt ya bad if ya slime me again."

Glass and Cork, all cleaned up and ready to go pennin.

These two will bout do anything for carrots. Neither one of them care much for apples, but look out if ya have carrots anywhere near em.

Adidas, our pet deer, this little critter has been hanging round the ranch all winter. At first it had adopted an other horse that was being kept on the place, but when she was moved it took on my two horses.
Most of the time can be seen standing in their round bale feeder munchin away or with Cork who nuzzles it and and has taken on role of deer protector. Glass just likes to chase it or cut it like a cow around the pasture. Can't get too close to it yet but time will tell.

BEAR,The "little" lap puppy.(only weighs bout 100 lbs!) And my protector. He does look like a black bear at times. Darn thing likes to pull tho, must be the Huskey in him.I've gone thru numerous loggin chains trying to keep him from eating the mail lady's little pickup.(not her, just her truck)

Dawg, has more lives than a cat. He likes to play with the horses until Cork gets him back for swinging on his tail. Knows the Vet on a first name basis, loves to go see him no matter no matter what kind of mess he has gotten himself into.

Jamie's Killer, Ratdog. Ginger is a sweety and no bigger than a minute. The cats have fun messing with her cus of her size. Her size rounds out the dog count to 3 1/2.

My cultured kitty Lit'lBit. Loves to sit on the horse collar and show off until.........
you walk by toward the hall. Then she counts coup on ya with her paw. Her favorite place to catch ya off guard is under the couch. Never know when a paw is gonna reach out from under the cushion and get ya again. Not much of a lap kitty, she is always on the go and will only let ya pet her when she feels the urge, then gets this look... "Ok that's enough" and bolts off to cause torment.

Still have one critter left to get on here. Patches, The typist Kitty. If I can get him awake long enough to get his pic.

AAAAHHH HHHHHHAAAA!!! caught him awake, finally. Patches, the quiet one.Spends the bulk of his time sleepin or having his mamma,Tigger, wash his head. He was Jim's possum kitty. As a kitten Jim could hold him upside down by the tail and pet his tummy. That crazy cat would just hang there and purr. No one else could ever do it to him.
When he does venture out, he'll come up in my lap when I'm at the puter chattin in the Lair. I was awarded the funnest typo award in there last year, I'd have trouble with the fingers goofin up and Patches would roll on the key board and type better than I did!!! It got to be a running joke, so he was dubbed the Designated Typist kitty of the Lair.
