TJ's Photo Album

I tend to get a bit squirrelly at times so ya never know what you may find on the photo pages. I just enjoy life and have a good time. heeheehee

May take a few minutes for page to open but kick back enjoy the photos.

My "little" truck...Ford F350 4x4 crew cab, powerstroke desiel. Works great for haulin all my kids and critters. The front licence plate is jt3777.

A hand made Will James slick tree saddle made by Dick Brown and my Dad.
I'm kinda spoiled, I get all my tack from my Dad. Headstall, breastcollar, chinks, and old fashion spur straps.
Daddy is pretty much retired from it now, but has passed on the art to his Grand daughter Erin,13, she has helped in making many pairs of chinks and spur straps so far. You Go Girl!!!!

Rodeo has always been a part of my life.
My Dad was a Rodeo Clown in Montana for many years and both my Brothers rode rough stock. Terry, my middle brother, went on to ride a bit for the PRCA as a permit holder.
As far as myself, I love to TeamPen and Sort.
I finally got to do something I have dreamed of all my life, Got to carry the American flag during the Grand entry. Took me 39 years to make that dream come true, but the feeling of pride you get in the middle of that arena holding that flag is one I will never foreget.
Jamie and I got to do a Mother-Daughter presentation the following year here in Cassoday, She carried the Kansas flag.
My Dad even made a custom flag boots with my name on it.
We have Fun days here all summer long with all kinds of events for all ages. We all have a ball.
Anyone involved in Rodeo knows how it gets in your blood in one form or another.
This is Terry's rodeo gear. All the essentials, tape, rosin, bullrope and bell, bareback riggin, spurs, ridin glove, chaps, and a copy of the Rodeo Sports News.

Rick's first "Big" bronze. A saddlebronc depicting the 100 years of Rodeo. A search went out nationwide for the artist. Rick's piece was chosen above all those submitted. It had to be circa 1888, and Rick was having a hard time trying to find a hat from that era. His wife, Lynn found a Stetson from that time and instead of making a copy of it they just bronzed the hat. Written inside of it is Lynn Scott Terry Hat Co.
The whole family went down for the unveiling in Prescott in 1988. Seated in front of the statue are Rick's nieces and nephews.
After all the ceremonies and such ended down there is when Rick gave me the little bronze in memory of my Brother. It amazed me that while he was so busy working on the big piece, he took time to do Flight Insurance. His Bio can be read on the Eagles Edition link. He has gone on to many great pieces since this one.

My Dad. Has shown me alot of trails up this canyon in the back round over the years. He spent alot of time in these hills riding as a herder for the Association. Fortunatly some of the places the public hasn't found yet. Have to know just the right mark on the trail to get to them.
Daddy has also taught me alot as far as Law Enforcement, was an Under Sheriff and Jailer in Montana for many years. He and Mom(passed away in 1978) owned the newspaper, Jefferson Valley News, and a shoe repair/western store , BJ Western Shop (named after my Mom, Betty Jo)in my hometown. I first learned to type on an old linatype. We had one of the last letter presses in the state. Most of the presses and linatypes are now in the Museum in Virginia City, MT. I Learned alot helping out in both businesses, from leather work to linatypes.

This one ought to scare ya, Me at work few years back!!
When you're workin down in the cellblocks the weapon you carry is your witts and awareness.
Over the years, I was assigned to certain areas of the facility that you did have to carry them.
The pic is dark because of the oneway glass. We kept the lights at a minimum. I did have other "toys or power tools as I called them" at that post tho heeheehee.
Our Facility was chosen to do a film on Professionalism for Lockup USA. Was neat to make a training film that will be seen across the country.
